| AUMENTO EN LA MEJORA DEL APRENDIZAJE POR EL USO DE LA PIZARRA INTERACTIVA EN EL CURSO DE QUÍMICA GENERAL, PARA ALUMNOS DE INGENIERÍA INCREASE IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING BY THE USE OF THE INTERACTIVE SLATE IN THE COURSE OF GENERAL CHEMISTRY, FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS Ricardo Zamarreño1 (1) Universidad de La Serena, Facultad de Ciencias, Departamento de Química, Colina el Pino s/n, La Serena – Chile Resumen El presente estudio entrega los resultados obtenidos al usar la pizarra interactiva en el curso de química general, para la carrera de Ingeniería en Construcción. La aplicación de esta técnica ha mejorado el aprendizaje de los alumnos, comparado con los cursos anteriores, que se aplicaban métodos tradicionales en la entrega de los contenidos. Esto se confirma por la aplicación del estadístico T de student, que demostró que el uso de esta herramienta fue significativo en el rendimiento del curso. El uso de la pizarra interactiva desarrolló un mayor interés por la asignatura, en los alumnos, sintiéndose más identificado y cercano a lo que ellos están acostumbrados a vivir. Esto se reflejó en un aumentando del 20% de aprobación de los alumnos. La aplicación de esta tecnología ayudo a los alumnos y profesores en mejorar la comprensión y explicaciones por los temas tratados. Abstract This presents study delivers the results obtained using the interactive whiteboard in the general chemistry course for the Engineering in Construction course. The application of this technique has improved students’ learning, compared to previous courses, which used traditional methods in the delivery of content. This is confirmed by the student T statistic application, which showed that the use of this tool was significant in the course performance. The use of the interactive whiteboard developed a greater interest in the subject, in the students, feeling more identified and close to what they are accustomed to live. This was reflected in a 20% increase in student approval. The application of this technology helped the students and teachers to improve understanding and explanations for the topics covered.
